Good news for me!

I finally got another job! It's server only but I think it will be nice I'll get good training too 

Also got a couple bars of Greek olive oil based soap bars that I'll get to play with later on too 

Im actually pretty excited it's only part time but that sounds great to me atm because last year I only had time to work so now I think Id prefer part time for now lol 

Basic starting stuff

I nolonger recall what some of the stuff costs but hopefully I can help enough to know if you're getting deals or not all prices that i recalled at the time are BURYIED on my OUTHER blog at sakura0garden.blogspot.com (caps are from autocorrect) 

So are we ready? My supplies and such atm but im allways watching for stuff too 

First thing you need is some big bowls before I got these (think 5-6 bucks not certain) I had some dollar store BIG bowls they worked well but too much pressure on the stove grate and the bottom would break which isn't good 

Ive also got a bunch of "molds" these were from a big bag at goodwill they were 2 bucks each at target (I paid far less in total but got lucky!) 

Mold/small bowl most of these are .50 at goodwill just gotta watch the glasses 

To me these look like wax tart molds they were *only* hand washed and got rusty people on the bed bath and beyond facebook imply im a moron but they came with no care instructions! Literally the tin and a price sticker if I was gonna use them for food I would have returned them no question but because there intended for molds im not too worried 

Small bowls These were like a couple bucks the post x-mas sale at target 

Most of that's food colouring some aldis (not normal stock) wallmart grocer there's also a pearl tube 4.99 at joanns (take competitions coupons too!) and the little tubs are paint from the dollar store 

Whisk the big ones from kitchen small ones 1.88 at wallmart 

More goodwill molds and dishes and such but far right was .70 on clearance at target

These molds are from joanns big are Oreos little are chocolates 

More molds --I like to watch the jello molds that are avalible 3 bucks for 2 big boxes and a mold is worth it to me im getting a ton of shapes to play with! 

Some silicone molds from goodwill --I'll admit I don't like getting these as they can be used for so much else but these are now for bombs and such! 

Measuring cups 1.48 or so at wallmart the coloured were 4 bucks 

Towels to keep area tidy withought ruining the house ones THO if these are gonna stay so fuzzy I may switch to dollar store "shop rags" which are the compressed ones geared to kids (I use them in my car love there reusable) 

Spray bottles these actually have toner tabs on them the right is tea tree left has rose petals 

I honestly don't know if I'm keeping this scoop as you can see it's broken

Cheap wallmart spoons I died the handles green THO we only use bamboo in the kitchen 

Some paddles lol got one at a buck at wallmart saw they dropped price so I got the 2nd 

But be careful this can happen with most of them 

Dollar store blade works well for cutting soaps (least the soft lush ones) 

Sams club think was 6-7 bucks

Dollar store odd huh? 22 oz is 2 bucks at target/wallmart but 14-15 oz is a buck at the dollar store! Im sold! 

Bunch of soaps that I use they were 1-10 bucks glycerin 2.50 baby oil was like 3 bucks ish at target 

Little hand sani was .25 per 2 at staples the baby gel was dollar store next 3 bucks 2 and dollar store soap!

These are also from the goodwill bag aside from the smelly oil which ive heard is not skin safe 

Some local soaps I have heard dogs need a different ph to what we do so im corious there but ive used lush soaps fine on the dogs (she also said those are made WITHOUGHT the lye process)

Well there's my supplies aside from the buckets that should be good for most things to get started ive expanded from what I started with 

Time for a time out

 I sadly have to stop with this blog for a short while the reason being we definately have atleast one mouse in our house the area went from clean enough to full of poo in the time it took to eat dinner and that was where I made dinner im talking about it was insane how much was there so I don't feel comfortable making anything clean in that area 

So for the time my stuff stays in the buckets 

For the most part the top bucket "should" be the "housewares" type bowls measuring cups spoons that sort and the bottom "should" be the ingredients so the hard soaps im experimenting with baking soda baby powder citric acid sea salt cream of tartar the liquid soaps I base outher stuff from 

Ive said before this was not cheap to get started I think atm there's over a hundred dollars worth of stuff in there now granted I was clever with some and not all cost that much 

I do have dedicated measuring cups  bowls a blade and such because I don't want to contaminate the stuff we have in the house for our food when I finally go thru everything I'll try to note all the prices but heads up: look at the top buck there's literally like 20 of those orniments I got them in a big bag from goodwill but I'll list as what I think the target price was to me there molds I have a lot that are molds and you'll prolly see that quickly as well

Here's the rest of what ive got from lush that I could dig up aside from my knot wraps (ive got: Christmas crackers for tree buying map greenbag Christmas pudding and wildflower -- black with bold flowers and 2 I have 2 of) and 2 perfumes that I wasn't too fond of 

So onto the lushiness? 

Let's start with something fresh! A fresh face mask that I actually think is past its exp date personally I see no difference and I rather like my oatifix tho I normally call it oatfix and if you're wondering about the little one these say to stay in the fridge but I don't know if it's super needed or not so I decided to take a small container and put some to leave out till it degraded or got mouldy or that and it ran out before anything really changed it but this is still kinda winter for us so that one is fine for now THO they told me 5 hours then fridge atleast in this instance it's been ok if you want to try I suggest a small amount as well 

How about something retro next? My first shower smoothie and a huge too gumback express to me is kinda like a scrubby shower get I'll use it or fun or even both before shaving at times and it's even good on my face! Im wanting to try more that's for certain 

I love love mint! However at nearly 10 bucks for that little thing it was actually one of the hardest purchases to legitimise  because it's just so small but it's scrubby enough and you eat it I actually really like the mint juleps even tho I barely use it (last time I did a single cold score seemed to turn to 5! And no I don't blame it I think I just did the wrong time) 

And don't forget the whip stick! I like it too THO seems like much is easy to use after the mint juleps or on its own THO together it's a bit like chocolate mint 

How about some toothy tabs? I haven't tryied the atomic yet but 5 bucks for like 40 of them that's a great value! Atleast compared to 6 for a single use bimbo have tryied and hated sparkle I loved breath of God THO made a bit of a creation with them so more later 

Here's my buche de Noel I did break the rules some and it's not in its packaging I added a little water and threw it in there try to make it easyier to use it really was fine before too I like somewhat scrubby face masks and such so I rather like this one when I went this was all that Id like its like angels on bare skin which I like the Aqua marina is great for many uses but to me it's a bit thin this has some scrub 

Let's get some deordant on! Teo style! Now you've likely allready noticed it's all broken up my first bar was direct application then cracked and fell on the floor half in the litter which my mom thinks anything there is contaminated and garbage so I got a 2nd talked to the person there got the tin and went out to get a brush to apply it with that itself is normally stored lid on in ziplock (and I think it smells divine!) 

Each peach massage bar both of mine are melted (it's not this or they'd be together) this ones from the greenbag and oddly enough it came in melted they are well enough that im ok with what happened (sitting on a couple free things) 

And nutts massage bar the green is from the tin that it was in overall I haven't gotten super attached to them they are nice and all but as I said before I just don't use lotions or the like much I have used it to tame my hair some THO --got warmed slightly in my hand then took and ran my hands thru my hair --it worked well enough and ive heard massage in and it will help with dandruff ive also heard you can break some off and use as a bath melt I haven't tested that one more im sitting on them then not atm and I intend to buy a couple more! 

Lulaby shampoo bar smells like twilight bomb and while I want to love it I just can't not yet atleast by itself it seems to be a bit mild and not super cleany but carson (the puggle puppy who has had fun and shampoo bar baths the shampoo bar which mimics a dog shampoo in foam and being a pain to wash out I trust this stuff with him!) may enjoy it more and I was thinking of him when I was sold on it 

New shampoo bar this was suggested to "replace" the Dr mint that I adore and another case of I want to love but can't however I have found (atm I only bathe to do not cause I need so it's a few days or more between baths) wash with new then lulaby as a conditioner of sorts and it's silky soft and like perfect hair however lulaby on its own won't do that I first found that when I got lulaby the night before I washed with new that night lulaby I did another lulaby on its own later not as nice and because these bars last like forever I don't mind doing this with them so much 

More FUN! The red one I got 2014 x-mas for my mom because I thought it sounded cool ive used it more then her but that's no huge shocker and the green one I got before we went for the camping trip up north last summer so by that time we knew it would be used 

I actually think this may be bad or a bad mixing on my part by now as it should be more putty like then crumbly but this is fun and Aqua mirabalis mix and as long as I can use it I will use it 

Here's the toothy mix I mentioned before I was trying to make like a toothpaste both are stored in the bathroom and they've settled some but im still gonna use them when I do THO they feel cool on my teeth which is the oddest of coconut oil the chewing the toothy tabs is odd too 

Remember the sharkie/ocean salt goop I was telling you about? This is how it looks now and I actually prefer the fun to this oddly enough 

And here's what's left of my home made oatfix which ive also gotten attached to this was ground by hand it has: oatmeal bananna coconut oil almond honey and cinnamon and yes ive been known to snack on this when I make it I'll post how I make this hopefully later this week 

Remember the bag I said we packed to take camping? Full of bath stuff to only use fun? This is it! Atm it's got everything you see in this post plus some tooth paste a toothbrush it's case and a few brushes and it's fairly full 

And I just (ok before I did) realised im missing my soaps that ive got there's a jar about full next to the sink of them I do intend to get to them as well this week and a bit of a what I have/use in making stuff inventory a fun diy to help there will kinda cover 2 ways and my oatfix diy 

So in short my weeks pretty planned plus I still have to take care of my seedlings some are getting true leaves so that's very exciting to me!
